Who knew the key to ending the shutdown would be Bob Mueller indicting Donald Trump's longest-serving political adviser?
Roger Stone is now the *sixth* Trump associate Mueller has indicted -- in a probe that remains open and continues to gather evidence.
Today is the first Mueller indictment of a Trump associate that directly relates to the stolen Clinton emails -- alleging Stone sought specific stolen emails and kept some Trump officials in the loop.
Mueller does *not* allege an election conspiracy or any knowledge by Trump in today's indictment. That's an important distinction that may benefit Trump and the WH. Mueller *does* allege, for the first time, the Trump Campaign was in the loop about Stone's efforts.
