Just spent 10 minutes writing a whole narrative about Daniel Radcliffe taking Tom Brady’s MAGA hat to Mount Doom to destroy it and then realized Frodo was played by Elijah Wood. My brain is fried and this website is cursed.
Also I can’t rewrite it because I just got home from Seattle and my wife is asleep so I can’t ask her what happens in Harry Potter. Anyway it would have probably gotten 20k retweets so just add that to what you think of me.
Here’s a better story if you haven’t seen it already. Forgive me Elijah.

“Men don’t get to have an opinion on abortion” is such an insidious trope because it trains men to suppress the urge to protect the weak from harm, which is the least toxic form of masculinity.
There’s a direct connection between this and the Catholic sex abuse coverups. Too many priests think of themselves as fun uncles instead of fathers whose job it is to protect their children.
Joseph literally left everything he had and fled to Egypt to protect his baby. You think this man would look the other way when it comes to crimes against children?

One interesting part of my wife’s job is designing Catholic churches and buildings to decrease opportunities for sexual abuse. Where you put bathrooms, access control, reducing hidden areas, natural surveillance, etc. This is a huge part of the reform that no one talks about.
To use two examples, a student who needs to use the bathroom should not have to walk through a common area that can be accessed by people who aren’t vetted, and priest offices should have large windows visible to people passing by. Plus a million other considerations.
The tricky part is that the types of environmental modifications that make abuse less likely can also make it more vulnerable to school shooters. Horrible we have to think about this stuff but I’m glad it’s being done. Also please tell the diocese to give my wife a raise.

Any billionaire running for office would be better off handing out cash on the street. The 2016 election cost $2.4 billion, which if donated to the best charities like @Give_Directly or @AgainstMalaria would have saved 1.2 million lives.
This is based on the gold standard for charities which is $2,000 per life. Of course, it’s also great to spend money on the common good that doesn’t save a life but that’s not what political campaigns are.
The solution, of course, is to abolish elections, reinstitute the monarchy, and make billionaires give the Royal Family the money they spend on campaigns. But we all know the Freemason moon-fakers won’t allow that to happen.

1. I grew up in segregated South where real racism existed. I live in a small rural town. A young black woman was murdered by a jealous boyfriend. She was loved at the high school, great athlete. WHOLE town put green ribbons on their mailboxes in support for last name was Green.
2. There was a prayer vigil and the whole town came to pray for the murderer to be found, and for God to comfort the family. I wrote a story for our local paper and the mother was so kind to talk to me.
3. I do not see white, black or brown. God created us all. We are ONE nation under God. Who profits from dividing our nation? Who is hurt by this call by always screaming division.
