Any billionaire running for office would be better off handing out cash on the street. The 2016 election cost $2.4 billion, which if donated to the best charities like @Give_Directly or @AgainstMalaria would have saved 1.2 million lives.
This is based on the gold standard for charities which is $2,000 per life. Of course, it’s also great to spend money on the common good that doesn’t save a life but that’s not what political campaigns are.
The solution, of course, is to abolish elections, reinstitute the monarchy, and make billionaires give the Royal Family the money they spend on campaigns. But we all know the Freemason moon-fakers won’t allow that to happen.
