That close relationship with Rudy spans generations of Mukaseys.

Marc Mukasey is the son of former U.S. Attorney General Michael Mukasey, who was Rudy Giuliani's co-counsel representing Reza Zarrab, the man behind the biggest money laundering scheme to Iran in U.S. history.

What’s so repugnant about this video isn’t only that she’s peddling a hideous historical lie that papers over the Holocaust.

It’s that she’s peddling the same hideous lie ascendent on the political right, as the historical memory of the Holocaust recedes in the United States.

1. Israel is making a major push for US recognition of Israeli sovereignty in the Golan Heights. Yesterday, PM Netanyahu called for it directly in his press conference with NSA John Bolton yesterday. It's worth considering the pros, cons, and implications of such a move.
2. One has to assume the Trump Admin is giving this step serious consideration. Maybe the decision is already made, & it is just a question of announcing it. It could be presented as compensation to Israel for the withdrawal of US troops from Syria, which Israel advised against.
3. Israel argues that the Golan is important strategic high ground, from which Syria attacked Israeli communities pre-1967, &had it been returned in previous negotiations, Hezbollah, Iran, ISIS or other enemies could have attacked Israel from there & done great damage. All true.

I’ve been drinking since I got home from work. Today I held the hand of a 35 year old #heroin addict & mother of two as she left this earth to hopefully find peace on the other side. I spent hours trying to locate her family. When I did locate them I wish I had not...
I’ll call her Jane. Her brother kept asking me about her car, which I have no idea where it is. Her mother told me she couldn’t afford to bury her & wouldn’t claim the body regardless of my assurances that she’s not responsible. Me & her bedside nurse are at her side as she dies.
I’ve been a nurse 22 yrs. I’ve been here before. In the room to hold her hand as she dies; out of the room to take a call because I’m still responsible for half the hospital. Bedside nurse has been here 6 months but she’s not green to this unfortunately. We’re both pissed...

I think it's important to talk about the way that teenage girls are groomed not just by individual men but by society and culture to see dating older men as one of the perks of *being* a teenage girl, and as a route to status that is otherwise limited.
