Here we go! They're discussing SB 55, the bill to encourage "In God We Trust" to be posted in public schools.

The sponsor, Sen. Jensen, just introduced an amendment to make it MANDATORY (even worse idea). #sdleg

Wow, Sen. Jensen just said that the Congressional Prayer Caucus Foundation (CPCF) and National Legal Foundation (NLF) will defend in court any schools that are sued because they post "In God We Trust." #sdleg

CPCF and NLF are the architects of Project Blitz! 😲

Sen. @LeeSchoenbeck makes a great point. We should trust our local schoolboard members, and they don't want a mandate to post "In God We Trust" in our schools. #sdleg
