What happened in that House hearing room yesterday was remarkable, as I told @mitchellreports.
We heard *we just don't know* the total number of kids separated by Trump or whether or not they were ever reunited.
Chairwoman @RepDianaDeGette called the policy "abhorrent."

Reality is @HHSGov couldn't tell us how many kids were separated if they wanted to.
@DHSgov hasn't told them!
@OIGatHHS says could be "thousands" more than 2,800+ we know about.
