1. The Fundamental Problem With Green New Deal (#GND)
I will not quibble with your explicitly dishonest attempt to blame others for your own incompetence in posting on your own Website a version of FAQs for which you got a well deserved reputational black eye.
2. You're not the first dishonest politician and you will certainly not be the last. So forget that, as it is not entirely consequential, so long as you learn from your mistakes. Let us turn to your latest and what you now claim to be the authentic version of the resolution.
3. Let us also dispense with the loads of nonsense in your resolution that treats highly debatable and questionable statements from the U.N. and other political actors as gospel truth. Environmental catastrophists and progressive activists aren't exactly known for honesty.
4. So shorn of all that hooey, what is still worth paying attention to is what you are really trying to achieve with all this tendentious rigmarole, i.e. the purpose behind all this madness.
5. Your purpose quite transparently is this: You want to redefine the role of our government in the most statist/Marxist way possible. We have a Constitution that very clearly defines the role of our government and its duties. You want to upend it with a Congressional resolution.
6. I must admit your cronies (or string-pullers) have been very clever in burying their intention deep in the document and in such a convoluted way that it takes a little doing to dig it up and expose it.
7. The difference between Capitalism and Communism is not in the ultimate goals (no form of government has indecent goals as a governing philosophy), it is entirely in the way the two systems set about to achieve them.
8. In our blessed Constitutional framework government's entire job is to nurture, protect and defend life, liberty, and the 'pursuit of happiness'. It is NOT to make everyone happy.
9. Our founding fathers were wise enough to know the fatal difference between guaranteeing safety and security to 'pursue happiness,' to create jobs, to create innovation, and to do all sorts of good things, and guaranteeing happiness, jobs, innovation, and all other good things.
10. Allow me to quote from your resolution just one snippet to make my point. On page 5, the resolution says:
"It is the duty of the Federal Government to ... create millions of good, high-wage jobs and ensure prosperity and economic security for all people of the United States."
10. No. It is NOT. Not of the United States Government that was created by our divinely inspired Constitution which embodies the collective wisdom of innumerable political philosophers and sages and collective experience of thousands of years of human history.
11. Yes. It IS the duty of the United States Government to protect and safeguard the conditions in which people, working of their free will and pursuing happiness as they see fit, create millions of good, high-wage jobs and ensure prosperity and economic security for themselves.
12. The difference between those two scenarios is precisely the difference between the Soviet Union of the past and the United States of the past, present, and the future.
13. I have no problem with the noble goals. I love them. I have every problem with who you say is responsible for achieving them. We the people are. The government is not.

Take the Marxist GND and send it to the Red Square, to be placed alongside Lenin's embalmed body.

The End.
Grim New Deal (#GND) also co-sponsored, from beyond the grave, by these hall of famers.
By the way, Americans are already doing it. United States is the only Western country which actually REDUCED its carbon emissions in 2017 and 2018 (after pulling out of the Paris Accord). We act and deliver while others pay lip service and virtue signal, by signing accords.
This #GND leaves little doubt that @AOC is just a facade behind which there are some very clever forces at work. I bet even she doesn't exactly know what she is being used for. She is just happy to be pampered, and let her vivacious personality propel her to new heights of fame.
From what she wears to what she eats to what she says, and of course what she tweets or posts on Instagram, it's all stage managed by consummate professionals. These professionals don't come cheap. Also, who hired/placed them there? Nameless, faceless people behind her are key.
This is not some Manchurian candidate conspiracy. She is not dumb. She was chosen for her smarts as well as telegenic appeal, but chosen she was. This is no different from how so many rookie Congressional candidates are chosen/selected by professional political scouts.
The only difference is who the scouts are in her case. Usually it is the professionals from the major political parties. In case of Democrats, it is usually the DNC connected apparatchiks. That is clearly not the case here, because she ran against the establishment candidate.
So who spotted her, recruited her, financed her, and promoted her, and continues to do so? First and foremost, the party that would be most interested in knowing that would be DNC, but DNC is such a hot mess (has been for quite a while). I suspect they know, but feel impotent.
