I have been a long standing believer of giving opportunities to unknown. Today whatever little that I have earned as a professional is because someone believed in me when I was unknown back in early 2001-04 and DECMA as a platform is doing the same to talents across India.
Having known Prashant for a decade certainly brings certain bias in my perspective but don't be mistaken as I have had the opportunity to work with some of the finest minds in the field of Technical and derivative analysis in India since 2002.Also the fact that I was a visiting
faculty in many good B-Schools in Mumbai between-2015 gave me an opportunity to unearth some talent who are now doing well for themselves as technical and/or derivative analyst, subject that I taught in B-Schools and Prashant is certainly one of those Juniors whom i had the
opportunity of being associated when he was unknown quantity.
When Prashant invited me to speak in DECNOCH in September 2017, I was unsure about the response but I vividly remember a 150 strong participants attending my session which lasted 45 mins.

In DECMA 2018, I was in the capacity of a participant & made some very good friends, acquaintances and clients. More than anything, I was blown over by the abilities of team Definedge to organise an event consisting of more than 200 participants.The choice of speakers is usually
the toughest of any conference just like choosing 5 stocks within Nifty-50 in today's time and team Definedge got its choice of speakers right. There was variety, simplicity and experience in the congregation of speakers in DECMA 2018 and many of speakers were first timers which
made the event memorable.
I stopped teaching and training since 2015 as I felt that I am unable to bring the same passion to it after a decade and DECMA gives me an opportunity to share thought processes with a knowledge hungry audience.

The intent is to stoke the methodical analyst hidden inside each of us who believe that a certain piece of jigsaw puzzle is missing and that maybe discovered while listening or interacting with people in DECMA. Finally people who have the hunger to learn with find their way.
