Especially for those had a terrible yesterday and probably going through a torrid today already, that past is always a contributing factor for tomorrow's existence.

We humans are always quick to assume & predict the outcome of tomorrow just from the natural turn of yesterday's events & occurrences of today, the more reason we turn out the same result we had thought of even though we were meant to disrupt d natural course

Sometimes we judge what happens to us by basing our judgement on what had happened to people in our lineage/family before us, we just say, "I know that's how my life will turn out because it had been like that for my parents"

"My grandparents didn't build, my parents never build, it's a pointer also..."

These are some of the things people say about themselves, they sum up the expectations of their own life in others past
Perhaps none built in your home before, it may be due to some circumstances beyond them at the time, but you now have a better experience than they did, however you are still tied to their own kind of reality when you can do better.

Friends, your tomorrow is not necessarily a function of your yesterday, you can break that norm, you are meant to disrupt the status quo, tamper with the course of existence and choose not to base your judgement of tomorrow's outcome on yesterday's evidences.

Simply put, your yesterday is not the best determining factor for ur tomorrow.
A good yesterday's experience can bring abt either a good or not so good tomorrow's experiences AND a negative yesterday's experience may also bring about a good or not so good experience for tomorrow
Don't take your past to predict your future, allow room for disruption.

Yeah I'm still on this consent rant because it's always on my mind now. Thread incoming about the changing definition of consent and what a lot of people are probably going through...
So this thread is amazing. And really highlights the fact that a lot of women develop different ideas about sex.

And where and how those ideas about sex are developed isn't so much a parent or a school or a lover, it's a lifetime of information, and information processed through a framework that continues to be built and rebuilt over time and life experience.
