Fox "News" is killing America. If you have Trump relatives, you know what I mean. It's the primary source distributing Trump/GOP/Russian lies & the ONLY source for many older supporters who aren't on computers.

I know from speaking to my own family that Fox "News" has radicalized them. The racism & hatred coming from the Right is in large part fueled by Fox. The right fears immigrants & minorities, but then so might you if you believed what they believe, what Fox tells them.

Fox "News" viewers are fed a constant diet of M-13 horror stories, tales of Americans killed by undocumented immigrants, tales of blacks killing whites. Fox focuses on these crimes & makes them seem common. Fox preys on their fear, like Trump does, like Hitler did.

Fox "News" is also pushing their hatred of us - the "elite" liberals. Fox tells them how we look down on them, how we hate them, how we mock them. Fox distorts who we are & what we believe to create hatred from the right. If you want to understand what has divided us, look at Fox

I'm convinced Fox "News" is part of this conspiracy with Russia to harm America - that they're the Fifth Column sent in early to open the gates. Even if you doubt that, tho, there's little doubt Fox sows intentional discord, dividing us & acting as a propaganda tool for Trump.

Fox "News" is NOT a right-leaning, but legitimate, news source. They're putting out conspiracy theories about Mueller probe, pushing Russian talking points & acting as a mouthpiece for Trump lies. A legitimate news source would not do this.

I don't understand why we on the Left are not taking the threat posed by Fox "News" far more seriously. If Fox were off the air tomorrow, a large number of Trump supporters would be freed from mind control. I'm thinking especially of the older folks, our parents & grandparents.

Trump's hardcore "base" - the ones attending his rallies, the neo-Nazis, the true cultists - is much smaller than most of us realize. Those supporters will never abandon Trump no matter what he does or did. They simply don't care.

However, there's a larger group making up his approval rating who are brainwashed & would not continue supporting him if they knew the truth. If the propaganda machine were cut off, many of these people would begin watching legitimate news sources & would slowly abandon him.

They would learn the truth about the Mueller probe, about Trump's strange foreign policy decisions, about taxes & healthcare & abortion & immigration & everything else. These people only support Trump because they believe they are watching legitimate news & are fed lies.

Question we should be asking if we want to stop Trump & his GOP enablers is HOW CAN WE CUT OFF THE PROPAGANDA MACHINE THAT IS FOX NEWS?We must turn off the lie machine to save America. Ideas on that?
