Breaking: The Supreme Court will hear the government's appeal of a ruling that the proposed citizenship question on the Census is illegal. Arguments will be in late April. 
Note that, while the state challengers, for example, opposed Supreme Court review, even their brief acknowledged that review was a likely possibility: supremecourt.gov/DocketPDF/18/1…
The bottom line is that the Census questionnaires have to be printed this summer, so this issue needs to be resolved by then. This will allow that to happen — although, for the challengers, this means there is a chance the Supreme Court could vacate the trial court decision.
