Whitaker refused to answer.

U.S. Attorney for SDNY, Geoffrey Berman, volunteered for the Trump transition, was personally interviewed by Trump for this job, and was never confirmed by the senate, but instead was able to keep his job without senate confirmation by having the district court select him.
