Perfect yellow dress/blue dress test for white privilege. If your subliminal racism makes you think of white privilege as normal, and embeds a racial caste system with this boy on top under everything you see, then you see a normal act blown out of proportion. But . . . .
. . . . if you grasp that caste systems work most effectively when instilled young, and carried out with confident arrogance, you see a person very happy with his perch at the top of that caste system, eager to try out his powers.

But the top litigation point will be . . .
. . . . “Does making and uploading a video of one’s actions, or one’s group/mob’s actions, endow you with ‘public figure’ status such that (for that uploaded incident), actual malice must be proved to maintain suit against the press?”

Wow. This is interesting. If this is actually Roger Stone’s wife, she just undermined the Trump Crime Family’s central “coffee boy” defense.
Pretty sure she just got herself on a trial witness list. Mueller would love to be handed support for Roger Stone being “instrumental” to Trump’s victory. If it’s true that Stone was the link to Wikileaks and the stolen documents, that pretty much convicts him.
It’s from last August, as someone just pointed out, but is hitting the Twitter airwaves hard today. Screenshot in case she deletes.

They’re going to call us “socialist” no matter WHAT we do.

When we’re taunted as “socialist,” it means the sociopaths and pathological hoarders are scared.

Put every practical goal on the table. Don’t fear name-calling.
“Will it work?” and “Is it sustainable?” should be our policy evaluation tests, not “will someone find a way to call it socialist?” Free markets are not going to to disappear if we publicly fund child care. Govt isn’t going to take over factory ownership if we fund college.
Remember, these people who use “socialist” as an epithet also think “Democrat” is the worst thing you can be called. They’re not protecting free markets. They’re protecting dynastic hierarchy of hoarded extreme wealth, and a caste system in which they sit at the peak.

Because GOP national culture has sickened to the point that “obeying the law” is considered 1) partisan and 2) something only Democrats care about.
Trump lied bc he believed that his base, donors and handlers wanted him to, and that he would go completely unpunished for it.
(BTW, a criminal can be both knowing, maliciously motivated, and mentally impaired.)

My #BlackHistoryMonth story:

In February of my senior year of high school, there was a Black History Month presentation scheduled. But attendance was optional.

The optional attendance policy upset the black students in the school. They staged a walkout during the lunch periods.
My 4th period class -- lunch periods shared the same time slots as 4th period classes -- was all white students, so we sat in our room during the walkout, which I think we could see from our window. None of us kids really understood why the walkout was occurring.
After all, it was a Black History Month presentation, so why should everyone have to attend it, instead of just students who were interested in Black History (whatever that meant), of whatever race? The attitude in the room was one of mainly confusion.

Ok so this is a thing I want to go into w/o directly distracting this thread:

Everything most Gentiles think they understand about Nazi worldviews is fundamentally wrong.
A lot of Gentiles commenting on Nazi perspectives tend to be American or activists against racism, and are strongly influenced by Neo-Nazism's role as the foot soldiers and brownshirts of modern white supremacy, so this is understandable. But it is WRONG.
The OG Nazis do not care, specifically, about color based racism. Oh sure, they were racist, they would have and did turn on black people when the opportunity presented itself, and they took inspiration from American racial hierarchies and systems of persecution. But.

The Farmers Alliance itself was an organization formed to speak to the very real concerns of increasing poverty and economic marginalization of southern farmers within the burgeoning industrial capitalist world. But of course real integration was not going to happen.
The reality of segregation and racism is the reality of American history. There's no getting around this fact. Any analysis of American history that does not center race is not a correct analysis. Period.

I’m not surprised that an inclusive, race conscious (not colorblind) Black Conservative, like #TimScott could see right through what his “colorblind” Senate colleagues couldn’t! The judge’s writings sound eerily familiar, so familiar to alt right talking points on gender & race.
And if you look at the publication that the Judge wrote for “The Stanford Review”, whose founder is Peter Theil, it gets even weirder. Why? Because it’s been alleged that Peter Theil (a gay billionaire) has always had major problems with diversity — he even wrote a book on it.
Peter Theil wasn’t born in America; he was born In Germany, and then he later lived in South Africa 🇿🇦. In college one of Thiel’s African American doormats said “One day I heard a rumor that Peter defended #apartheid (which was then still the law of the land in #SouthAfrica)
