So we have constantly seen various hashtags flying in constant sequence, since the Buhari admin came to power, asking him and his lieutenants to FREE this person or that activist. Nigerians that were doing there jobs. But #TyrantBuhari didn't share their ideologies

Thread!
Mariam @Ice131Queen.
An advocate of victims of sexual violence with #ArewaMeeToo

“While arresting Maryam, d police attempted to gain access to her laptop and mobile phone by force;
Arrested on February 19 by SARS operatives" #FreeMaryamAwaisu
Surfaced on our TLs. Now Released
The ever vocal @adeyanjudeji. He was locked up FOR NO REASON. They came up with an unbelievable case of 10years ago, where Deji was discharged & acquitted. He was locked up for over 62days just for speaking loudly about the missing NEMA funds. #FreeDejiAdeyanju now Released
Only in Nigeria would the DSS arrest a journalist in the line of duty. @SamuelOgundipe of @PremiumTimesng was arrested for a report that they insisted to know who his sources were. Report which however WAS NOT a threat to National Security. #FreeSamuelOgundipe went on for days.
The ever professional @Audu Maikori, in whom most young Nigerians find leadership and professionalism with the way he has always conducted himself was also a victim of tyranny. Mr. Body bags just wanted him locked away for an honest error. #FreeAuduMaikori greeted our TLs.
Call him A political prisoner. His words ring loudly in d camp of d @APCNigeria. We av woken up to d news of his arrest severally. D funniest thing being dat each time, we were not sure WHY he was arrested. @dino_melaye has been a vocal opposition voice. #FreeDinoMelaye trended
Only days ago @OladeleNihi
was arrested in Kogi State. His offence, for being an ally of Senator @dino_melaye. The sitting government has been ruling & not leading the country. Nigerians Now have the nolstagic feeling of d military days. #FreeNihi trended

The most pathetic of all is the detention of #JonesAbiri. This man was locked away by Buhari's government for over 2years. Their claim was that he reported "too much". It took a constant #FreeJonesAbiri from well meaning Nigerians and @AmnestyNigeria to get him freed.
I remember in August 2016, when #FreeAbusidiq rented the TLs. We didn't think of politics, though he is with the tyrant, we went all out to ask for @MrAbuSidiq's freedom. He was arrested by Buhari's EFCC for an article against Magu.

Regardless of whom, we believe in Nigeria.
Even when we were all witnesses to the open stealing and Agbada banking of the Kano State Governor, we felt #TyrantBuhari would show himself, but alas, he further confirmed our fears. Man only oppresses opposition and innocent citizens. #BuhariMustGo
Elzakzaky was a very loud voice in support of @MBuhari in 2015. When arrested, should we have asked for his release? NO! But because we want law and order to take precedence, we asked that he be released. Man in Aso Rock has refused after various court orders #FreeElzakzaky

End
I thought I had ended the thread, but information reaching me from @AmnestyNigeria suggests that the #ArewaMeeToo convener, and Sexual victim advocate @Ice131Queen is still being held by the @PoliceNG. It has become a sin to advocate in Nigeria under #TyrantBuhari. #BuhariMustGo
