Hey, here's Warren Kinsella sharing what appears to be actual fake news.
"The Buffalo Chronicle" is not really a news site. It has no bylines. Its previous managing editor admitted that the site was basically a tabloid. The new owner ran for mayor in Buffalo as a Green candidate. buffalochronicle.com/2016/01/04/ric…
Got to love a site that uses very Canadian turns of phrase like "leader of the Justice Ministry." And which is reporting this nonsense. buffalochronicle.com/2019/02/15/wit…
"The Buffalo Chronicle Media Group" is not a company registered in New York. The website is registered anonymously. Most of its supposed masthead haven't written for the site in years.
No but I'm sure they finagled this great scoop about how Scott Brison resigned because [spins wheel] the Bank of Montreal bribed [spins wheel] First Nations to support pipelines and [spins wheel] Jody Wilson-Raybould was there too.
Just another stellar moment in Warren Kinsella's storied career!
Can't hold The Dark Lord™ responsible for the things he tweets out while driving distracted.
Can't wait for the next election. It's just gonna be the kid's table of the pundit class tweeting unchecked things from the Kodiak Daily News and the Anniston Chronicle-Journal.

But they'll apologize 12 hours later and snidely call me by the wrong name as a SICK BURN.
Oh look, the Buffalo Chronicle is at it again —this time with a story about how the Clerk of the Privy Council is set to resign — and it got retweeted by a sitting MP.
At this point, let's not even worry about the Russians. We could have our election up-ended by a failed municipal American Green Party candidate.
Oh look, Tom Quiggin — the alt-right's favourite pseudo-academic on all matters of national security — also got duped by some especially lazy fake news. Starting to question your credentials, Tom.
Lest you think I'm just picking on a few people with this shit: The most recent made-up story from thew Buffalo Chronicle has been shared hundreds of times in the last 12 hours. Some accounts are spamming journalists, columnists, and pundits with the link to it. 🕵️‍♂️
The Buffalo Chronicle is still at it, insisting that "cases of corporate bribery and fraud" involving BMO and Kinder-Morgan "continue to worry senior cabinet ministers." But I've got a bit of an update. buffalochronicle.com/2019/02/27/tru…
I reached Terrence Robinson, the supposed owner of the site, who has zero clue what it is. Turns out Matthew Ricchiazzi, the original owner, is still running it. I spoke to him. He's confident in the two reporters who wrote these stories — though he didn't fact check them himself
Ricchiazzi reached out to the two writers behind these stories, and will let me know if he can give me their names. Which is, obviously, weird.
I realize it's getting repetitive, at this point, but the Buffalo Chronicle continues to ensnare gullible rubes with its fake news. This time, @SenNicoleEaton decided to share a story claiming Ottawa got Google to censor news around SNC-Lavalin.
It is nice to see that the Buffalo Chronicle gave me a shout-out.
Oh, and here's @WBrettWilson sharing a story reporting, without any basis, that retired Supreme Court Justice Frank Iacobucci demanded a remediation agreement with SNC-Lavalin *and* "bullied" the government into buying the Trans-Mountain pipeline. Retweeted hundreds of times.
We deserve all the fake news we get, if public figures like these are so thick as to go around sharing this total nonsense.
Oh, and now we've got a Conservative MP sharing disinformation. Congrats @ToddDohertyMP, you've totally failed your critical reading test.
Credit where it's due. @ToddDohertyMP did delete the tweet when he realized the story was nonsense.
I can report that things have taken a turn for the weirder. buffalochronicle.com/2019/03/18/ott…
