Doing some shelf rearranging this morning and pulled @mcsweeneys editor @crmonks's "The Ultimate Game Guide to Your Life" down and started, then couldn't stop reading it. It's a brilliant piece of satire, but also a deeply moving human story. amazon.com/Ultimate-Game-…
I'm biased because I acquired and edited the book for my short-lived humor imprint (TOW Books), but even at the time, I thought Chris' book was too good for the list and the genre. It honestly moved me to tears at the end. If you can find a physical copy, it's so worth your time.
