Today I have read an article by a male writer, @jonathanliew, that finally gets down to brass tacks.

In it, he acknowledges that if males who claim to identify as women are accepted as literal women, then natal women may well be pushed out of sport altogether.

@jonathanliew Jonathan's article essentially asks: Who cares? Because as far as Jonathan is concerned, women as a sex do not exist, are not important, and males who identify as women usurping all their opportunities and achievements is "inspiring."

It is honest, I guess. But let's take a look

@jonathanliew at how Jonathan's argument can be transposed onto other issues. Because once one man comes forward to essentially say he just doesn't give a shit, he paves the way for others.

So. If we accept that males who identify as women are literal women, then this may mean that natal

@jonathanliew women, who are still woefully underrepresented in political life may be facing still less representation. How long before someone asks: Who cares? Does it matter? 'Women are not a sex with their own distinct interests anyway.'

Next. If males who claim to identify as women are

@jonathanliew accepted as literal women, then women are no longer defined as a sex. Therefore women lose their sex based rights. How long before someone just comes out with it and says: 'Who cares? Does it matter?'

And so on and so on. These trans activists are emboldened by the increasing

@jonathanliew social acceptabilty of the misogyny that is at the heart of gender ideology. They are not even pretending any more.

Jonathan Liew looks at the total erasure of women from sporting life and shrugs: Who cares? He writes it in a national newspaper and thinks he's on the right side

Women, please. Wake up and stand up. We just cannot afford to roll over any longer.
