I love this question and tried to answer it yesterday and got bogged down over the fact that there's a mix of famous people who are sort of from Madison but not really, and people from Madison who are sort of famous but not really.
Also, I'm really not sure how Frank Lloyd Wright or Chris Farley would actually do in a fight.

Did you know that Georgia O'Keefe is sort of (but not really) from Madison? (I hadn't realized this until I looked up a list.)
Also STACEY ABRAMS, who according to Wikipedia was born there but doesn't appear to have lived there for any length of time.
Here's the Wikipedia page of people from Madison, Wisconsin, and my ability to assess fame is further screwed up by the fact that I know some of these people personally to some degree.

I am so dismayed by the many Democrats running for president instead of shooting for the lower office. Not just Beto but Hickenlooper and others.
"The lower office up in 2020 that could potentially be swung red to blue," specifically.
To fix anything, we don't just need a Democratic president. We need Democrats in the Senate, as Governors, we need to dominate state legislatures to prevent another round of Republican gerrymandering.

This is a good point, and I have a whole lot of editing advice and my husband is making dinner, so hey, pull up a chair if you're interested.
At the basic level, here are things to look for and fix when you're editing.

1. Does the plot basically make sense? When you re-read, are there moments that the characters forget to try some absolutely obvious solution, like calling someone on the phone or locking the door?
2. Are the characters basically portrayed consistently? Does anyone forget that they're a medical doctor or rocket scientist? If someone is supposed to be sympathetic, do they basically seem sympathetic?

Dear Never-Trump Republicans:

It's understandable that, having watched your own party embrace actual fascism, you'd really like the Democrats to to embrace whatever it was you think the GOP used to stand for.

But we're going to pass, thanks.
Our party has never marched in lockstep. There are literal socialists and there are people who'd fit in fine in a saner version of the Republican party. And that's OK.
You can feel free to vote for, donate to, and work for Blue Dog Democrats -- there are plenty out there for you to support -- but your desperate desire to convince us that our party is DOOMED if we don't all turn into Colin Peterson (MN-07) is transparently self-serving.

I think it's so funny the moves made by my pd. It's clear as day, and the egregiousness, collusion, violating many rights, outburts in court, lies, gaslighting, and goading even, dude...I got all the emails. Video.
And what judge allows that? My fault somehow, right? Brady Rule, for my own stuff? MP clearly grandstander, put on an act, went way off kilter, lied, slammed papers, it was unhinged, down to misquoting case law.
Seriously, 1.5 yr old subpoenas too. And he allowed it all. This is a shitshow. The Brady Rule, you see that the key. I used it during an investigation that the PD not only knew about, took steps to collude with, knowingly acted against my best interests.
