Can someone get @KenDilanianNBC to release the final Mueller report that was submitted to DOJ back on February 14? Or did that...not happen? {checks notes} Sorry about that, looks like it was just BS from unreliable Trump-camp sources—as I told Ken at the time.

Today is March 6.
/ Ken once said the difference between him and me is I (who am unpaid) cover the Trump-Russia story for money, whereas he (who is paid) doesn't. He also said he (who is paid) cares about America, whereas I (who am unpaid) do what I'm doing for me. But there's another difference.
/ If I make one mistake—and it's human to do so—there will be hit-pieces written solely about me and how I was always in some sense unreliable. Meanwhile, Ken can re-report a story that had previously been found to be false on seven occasions and face virtually no real blowback.
/ When @KenDilanianNBC—he alone—created the false but shortly ubiquitous narrative that Mueller was done with his work and now in the report-writing phase, I laid out for him in a thread why his report was incorrect as a matter of *fact*. And he called me greedy and un-American.
/ To its credit, The Washington Post did something different: it reached out to me about the many reasons I (and other attorneys) were saying Ken's report didn't make sense. While still saddled with a headline deeded to it by Ken, this is what resulted: washingtonpost.com/politics/2019/…
/ Now we see an attempt by @AlanDersh to further pressure Mueller to finish his historically important work by selling a book due "March 26"—in 20 days—that claims it'll contain the *full and final* Mueller report, though all we'll *actually* ever get is AG Barr's brief summary.
/ @KenDilanianNBC—who's paid to break stories—wanted to break the Mueller story in December, so he plugged a discredited narrative—even as independent digital journalists were saying, "We can't know when he'll be done!" Dershowitz uses his own dodgy methods to "break" a story.
/ The truth: we don't know when the report is coming; we don't know how Mueller will address the countless loose ends we know of and the many we likely don't; we don't know if any of the D.C. sealed indictments are Mueller's; we don't know how Mueller will resolve his ongoing...
/ ...grand jury battles; we don't know if Roger Stone will turn State's evidence; we don't know how Mueller is processing the new evidence of criminality that comes in daily; we don't know what cases he's handed off—or why—and which he hasn't; we don't know if he sees himself...
/ ...as only an investigator and intends to indict several people at the end of his work that DOJ will then prosecute; we don't know why he extended his grand jury through July; we don't know how long the fight over his report will be if Barr only releases a summary and won't...
/ ...give Congress or America anything but heavily redacted, unreadable text. The simple fact is, we're all in the dark—which is really bad business and a bad professional situation for a guy like @KenDilanianNBC, but doesn't daunt me because I can just be honest about it. /end
