One of the many reasons that the American right should embrace nationalism is that it provides the necessary intellectual infrastructure to defend Israel

Along with Poland, Hungary, Italy, etc
Another dynamic at play

Big donors don’t matter nearly as much in 2019

Democratic politicians are a lot more scared of AOC and Ilhan than they are of Haim Saban

The base of the Democratic Party is not down with Israel...at all

You know what's funny?

I bet like 90% of the affluent parents indicted in #CollegeGate are liberals.

For example, Felicity Huffman is a very regular Democratic donor.
You know these people.

They drive Priuses.

With the single Obama sticker on the back.

Maybe with a Coexist bumper sticker, as well.

They donate nothing to charity and they bribe college coaches to get their kids into the right college.
I grew up around these people.

I was born and raised in Cupertino, CA - in the heart of Silicon Valley. My parents were the only Republicans in the community.

When I was 10, there was a proposal to build some condos with affordable housing near the highway.

That’s why President Trump isn’t invoking his inherent Article II power to declare a national emergency.

Instead, he is relying on statutes enacted by Congress.

This isn’t a separation of powers issue.

Please, Senator, reconsider!

We have worked hard to rebuild trust on our presidential process. Rules and Bylaws Cttee working with early states on rules. A key rule change ends superdelegates voting 1st round absent consensus candidate BUT elected officials can still be PLEOs & not run against constituents.
The PLEO Party Leader Elected Official designation is for pledged delegates who are Members of Congress Governors etc who want a first round #DNC convention vote but don’t want to run against activist to get there.

A lot of ppl have asked me about my personal feelings towards #Israel, so here goes: I grew up in a fundamentalist Islamic home where I was taught to hate Jews to an irrational degree. The hate was divinely ordained.
It was my duty as a Muslim and as the daughter of a Palestinian to hate them, though I never had any personal reason to. Every Jewish person I met was lovely to me (I wore hijab at the time) and some would refer to me as their cousin.
But I was taught that they were lying and pretending and that secretly they were poisoning us all etc. When I became an atheist, the hate for all Jewish ppl was no longer divinely ordained, but I was still sure Israel deserved my hate.

Israel is not a nation, it is a giant Science and Engineering lab. To visit Israel is to visit a lab.
