Something looks way off about BJP India site being down.

1. Dig shows it's IP Address is 104.17.40.33
2. IP Lookup shows it is hosted in North America in Kansas by Cloud Fare. [Such patriotism]
3. Digging further, we find that the domain is under tucows with an expiration date on 25-12-2018. That is positively weird. I mean really, India's richest party left it's domain expired? That must be totally insane.

4. Pinging tucows, we go further to Pure Tech. You have to go here and clear a re:Captcha

5. Puretech seems to be doing OK with a marquee clientele.
puretech.com/work/clients.h…

Did they just forget about the code or the web site? And no backup? It would be mind blowing if that had happened.

The domreg email address suggest that they do handle domain registration.
6. Security trail shows something happened 15 days ago. Notice the IP Address switching from 107.45 to 40.33. Pretty weird, huh?
7. Hello, 104.31.207.10, what happened here? tonstiparro.info?

This so far looks like some network reconfiguration gone wrong. No idea, whether by intent or hack. Still very bizarre that they have not been able to resolve it for weeks now.

Did they lose everything?
I hope not. Whatever one could say about any party, losing their web site close to elections is not cool. If it is an external actor, then it is deliberate and must be classified as an attempt to disrupt elections.

if it is raw incompetence, then of course, different matter.
