I always have my hair searched if I don’t have PreCheck boarding pass (when others book work trips for me). It’s demeaning, exhausting & a detriment to my professionalism if my hair gets messed up before work. @ProPublica is looking for stories like mine.

I encourage folks to use the hashtags #TSAHairChecks to talk about hair checks on POCs specifically and #TSAHarassment to talk about your experiences with @TSA regarding disability, gender expression, race/ethnicity and religion.
