The release of the Mueller report is like a near death experience where everyone shows their deepest self. Goldberg, of course, is already talking about how nutso "the left" is going to be before, well, anyone on "the left" has actually done or said anything.
I'll stick my neck out here on Twitter to predict that almost no elected Democrats will respond as Goldberg predicts, and that neither will journalists and opinion writers at well-established liberal outlets.
Will a few Twitter randos on the left do so? Of course. And will National Review write an article about them and how unhinged "the left" is and how little respect they have for the rule of law and so I guess we'd better just support Trump in 2020? 99.9% yes.
As for the deep staters Goldberg talked about, I suspect he's right that they'll suddenly discover how much they love Mueller if he says things they like. But those folks were never good faith actors anyway.
