Rossendale councillor Pam Bromley doesn't learn. Suspended by Labour over antisemitism allegations a year ago, she's now active in Labour Against the so-called Witchhunt. Here she is a few weeks ago saying there's nothing antisemitic about a notorious Holocaust denial video. /1 
The context is a Facebook post by Lesley Anne Perrin, a senior member of Torbay Constituency Labour Party, announcing her resignation from the party in response to it launching an investigation into allegations that she had shared antisemitic material on social media. /2
Perrin had shared 'Six Million Jews 1915-1938', a video by a far-right group (TheTrans22) which shows 10 old newspaper reports that refer to 6m Jews being in danger due to antisemitism in Eastern Europe some years before the Nazis' WW2 Holocaust began. /3
The video is presented as "10 newspapers from 1915-1938 before the Holocaust allegedly happened". Note that word "allegedly". And the narrator starts by saying: "Here's 10 newspapers where these Jews are pushing this 6m figure between the years of 1915 and 1938". /4
The purpose is to present the 6m deaths figure as something invented before the Holocaust had even started and thereby imply that the Nazis' industrialised genocide against Jewish people is simply a hoax perpetrated by Jews. /5
Lesley Anne Perrin claims she doesn't hold antisemitic views, doesn't deny that the Holocaust happened and only posted the link for discussion with her friends. But it doesn't require much research to see that she frequently promotes antisemitic pieces from neo-Nazi websites. /6
A friend challenged her when she originally posted the 6m Jews video in August 2017, quite rightly saying that it was unacceptable to describe the Holocaust as 'allegedly'. But Perrin stuck to her guns in challenging the veracity of the 6m figure. /7
Perrin's attitude is shown again in this more recent post about Benjamin Netanyahu's claim that Iran wants to instigate another Holocaust against Jews. A friend writes "It would not be a Holocaust this time. It would be pest control" and Perrin sees fit to like his comment. /8
When Lesley Anne Perrin finally gets questioned by the party about her conduct, she and her husband resign in a huff. And look at the response of her friends. I don't know how many are Labour members - hopefully none - but they are united in offering her uncritical solidarity. /9
And Cllr Pam Bromley is in there too, commenting on the video: "I got fed up watching it; what's supposed to be AS about it? GnasherJew are behind most of this stuff. Time legal action was taken." /10
Pam Bromley can't see what's antisemitic about a video that starts off saying "Here's 10 newspapers where these Jews are pushing this 6m figure between the years of 1915 and 1938" and which describes the Holocaust as "allegedly". /11
If you still can't see it, Pam, after all that's happened in the year since your suspension and the many exchanges you've been in where people have tried to explain the issues, then you really don't deserve to be reinstated by the Labour Party. /12
And as for Lesley Anne Perrin's resignation, I say good riddance. Please don't come back. /13
