Setting Realistic Goals & Crushing It

Yesterday I tweeted about how to set up a goal that's realistic .

A goal you can meet up to & you know is possible cos you're not trynna act like Superman .

Where do we start ?
1 .

You see ...

Everyone has a goal they're working towards in life / business .

Everyone .

But the reason you won't make it is because of -

- These goals aren't broken down .
- They're simply impossible atm .

Don't be confused , let me explain ...
2 .

When you set up a goal , it's within your power to KNOW what you can do .

Eg A fitness trainer can get at least 1 client a month IF he puts himself out there enough .

Sure he can get more , but 1 client is WITHIN his power give or take .

Same thing as a business owner .
3 .

So if your main goal was to get 3 clients & you're able to just get 1 , you'll surpass it before you know .

Remember that at the same time , this goal isn't impossible for you cos you're working with a worse case scenario .

And also cos you've broken it down this way too .

So all these is well & good but how do you reach your monthly goal in your business & even surpass it ?

That's what this thread is about .

I'm about to reveal a simple technique you can use right now & if you follow it , you'd see massive improvement .

Let's begin ...

Let's say you're a fashion designer & your designs are to die for.

And you're to meet a monthly goal of say ... =N100,000 .

=N100,000 is basically $275 or so .

If you're to meet this goal, you either -

1 . Increase your price .
2 . Increase your audience .

I'll explain.

1 . Increase your price .

Alot of people are scared of increasing their price cos it would scare off customers, which is understandable .

But if you want to crush your goals fast, you should consider this .

That is if you truly offer quality, customers can see through BS.

Let's say someone is selling their designs for =N3,500 / $10 , it's basically going to take 29 sales to hit the =N100,000 / $275 mark .

But what if you go on to increase yours to say =N5,000 ?

You only need to sell 20 to hit that same target .

TWENTY .

You can even break it down further to know how much you need to sell daily eg - =N100,000 divide by 30 days .

Meaning you need to sell 3 per day .

And since you need to make 20 sales cos of the price increase , you'll surpass it before you even know what's going on .
9 .

Take away the fear of customers running away if you do this , It rarely happens SO FAR your product has value (very important) .

I remember when my boss @akinalabi suggested this to someone & sales even increased .

2 . Increase your audience -

This is where alot of people often miss out (me included) but I've seen it's efficiency too much to dismiss it any longer .

When we say increase your audience , what we simply mean is you SHOULDN'T be limited to just 1 place for selling .

You get buyers on Twitter ? Fine .

But what about Facebook .

Instagram .

Addynamo .

Nairaland .

Blogs .

Someone's email list .

The options are endless when you know where to look .

Increasing your audience isn't fixated on these alone .

You can choose to go global too.

This is what my sis @FireOFola does . Most of you don't know but Nigeria isn't the only audience she sells to .

Another one is my bro @HQawiyy , dude doesn't takes any prisoners anytime he launches a new product .

It's crazy 😁.
13 .

So it's either you increase your price / simply increase the audience you're selling to .

And before you know it , you'll not only reach your monthly goals but also surpass them .

You're not in business to look face , you're in it to make money .
