Brennan, like most of us, is trying to figure out how things stand after a blast. The air is vibrating like a string. We can't hear what people are saying. The room is unrecognizable and we are feeling around to see if our body parts are still connected.
The scary thing is that the system is not behaving in a predictable way. Brennan and his interviewers just realized it and are trying to regroup. It's not just Donald Trump but something else is in the frame that makes all the shots fly all over the place.
