The same people who claim the world will end if we don’t pass this terrible plan can’t even bother to vote yes on it when given the opportunity.
The real stunt here was proposing this ridiculous and dangerous plan. Democrats want credit for doing something and the ability to attack Republicans with ridiculous rhetoric without any responsibility for what they want to do.
That’s not how it works. If you’re going to propose an insane and dangerous plan that destroys the economy and lives of most Americans without actually solving any problems, people have the right to judge you for it.

A big part of the reason that most of the electorate doesn’t treat AGW as a crisis is because most of the people who yell about it being a crisis don’t behave as if it is. They just aren’t believable.
