Ah...remember when Boris Johnson hired his own photographer to do a photoshoot of himself signing his resignation letter because he couldn't support the deal?

Well, he's changed his mind now. How sweet...

People are laughing but I, for one, grieve for the hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of top quality journalism Boris Johnson has just set fire to there. The solitary column, typed out so many times, all gone. all burned. A national tragedy.
Theresa May is reduced to begging someone - anyone - to take back control. But nobody will.

Right. First day back after Christmas in this perfectly normal country and I'm off to Ramsgate to sketch a Potemkin traffic jam up the A299 at dawn.
Currently in a traffic jam waiting to get in to the fake traffic jam.
This really is where a hundred lorries are gathering voluntarily to stage a fake traffic jam all the way to Dover to show the EU we are ready for no deal.

Remember how mad some got at those of us who said an immediate withdrawal, which was the original announcement, was irresponsible?

I’m glad to hear he has changed his mind, which was only possible because people spoke out instead of just pretending everything he does is great.
Seriously, how embarrassing do Trump cultists who defended an immediate withdrawal and abandoning the Kurds look now?

That’s what happens when you choose to worship politicians instead of holding them accountable and speaking out when they are clearly wrong.
original announcement was withdrawal within 30 days. Almost no chance Mattis, McGurk etc. would have resigned if we had announced current policy from start.

Trump acted impulsively and it cost him/us. People were right to call him out, and it helped lead to the current shift.
