So as you can probably guess, the world of football isn't like any normal business at the best of times.

But what happened on Wednesday at #ColU took it to a whole new level.

Settle in, this is worth sticking around for.
Sometimes in the media team, we really have to work our grey matter to come up with good content.

At other times, stories just fall into your lap. And, on this occasion, it quite literally did.

#ColU
When the club secretary phones the media department, it's normally something interesting - transfer news, contracts being signed, that sort of thing.

But this time? There was a burger that had been found at the training ground.

#ColU
The aforementioned burger was attached to a polystyrene box, with a Go Pro camera inside.

Which, in fairness, isn't the usual occurrence at Florence Park.

#ColU
But there was no card inside, so we didn't really know what to do. Honestly, what DO you do with a frozen burger?

Then the phone rang!

#ColU
The chap on the phone explained that the box, burger and Go Pro camera was his, he was from Sheffield, and he'd sent the burger into space.

As you do.

And he was coming to get it back!

#ColU
Now Sheffield to the training ground is three hours or so, but as time passed by, we were wondering whether our mystery guest was going to turn up.

#ColU
Then, at just before 4pm, our burger launcher arrived through the gates at Florence Park!

#ColU
Tom explained how he ended up in north Essex on a Wednesday afternoon in March.

#ColU
So yes, this is the burger on its way up... #ColU
Now, for those of you who watch Youtube on a regular basis, Thomas may well be familiar.

His Youtube channel is one with 2.7 million followers.

And his top video has over 30 million views...

#ColU
And he told us more about the burger's journey through time and space (Surely there's a movie in here somewhere...)

#ColU
It definitely went pretty high, by the looks of this.

#ColU
And what do you do with a burger that's been in space? Well you have to try it, right?

Right?

#ColU
How was it? Dry, powdery, frozen...

#ColU
With his burger and Go Pro safely retrieved, Tom headed back to Sheffield, with the rest of us still trying to fathom just what had happened on Wednesday afternoon.

#ColU
Here's Tom's story, on his Youtube channel!

#ColU
So the #SpaceBurger story has reached Denmark, USA, Australia so far.

Anywhere else?!
