Liam Fox celebrates the growth in UK exports to non-EU countries. Mentions they're rising fast to countries including Japan, Canada and Switzerland... all of which we currently enjoy free trade agreements with as EU members. Head, meet desk!
And don't get me started on the shocking abuse of percentages, which have never been a useful measure of growth absent underlying data.
For example:
A) £100 to £200 (100% growth, or £100)
B) £1,000,000 to £1,010,000 (1% growth, or £10,000)
I'd rather have £10,000 extra than £100!

I've heard quite a few Brexiters complain in the last few days that "If Remain won, we'd still be arguing about what that meant too." No, we absolutely wouldn't! Remain required no action other than a gentle shoulder shrug "hmm, ok, that's over and decided" and go about our day.
Remain was (is) the status quo. All we had to do was do absolutely nothing whatsoever. Our EU membership would have continued exactly as it had before, and politicians would have been free to focus on the NHS, schools, tackling homelessness, improving mental health etc.
It's hard to believe they're stupid enough not to understand they're creating a false equivalence, so the obvious conclusion is that they're deliberately trying to rile up and mislead the public.

So much Brexit stuff could happen in the next 48 hours, it's hard to know where to even begin. (Mind you, we could still be stuck in Groundhog Day at the end of it all.)
1) Watch out for various Tory MPs to stake out positions in the Sunday papers and on the politics shows.
You may see a renewal of calls to leave the EU without a deal on 12 April, which may be a precursor to an overt attempt to sabotage the last couple of weeks of Brexit to trigger that default outcome. And keep an eye on Theresa May to see if she becomes a full-blooded "no dealer"
There may also be a chorus of voices around softer forms of Brexit, and renewed calls for cross-party collaboration.
2) GE klaxon... somebody's bound to call for one. You just know it.
3) Resignations? If it looks like we're no-deal bound, Remainers may quit the cabinet in droves

1/ Dear MPs - in this thread we are genuinely trying to help. Please read/listen. The UK is indisputably having great difficulties replicating the preferential trade agreements and Free Trade Agreements that we enjoy as members of the EU. But it doesn't need to be this way.
2/ The European Free Trade Association, (which the UK helped to create) has an enviable network of FTAs with countries around the world. In those places where it doesn't have FTAs, it often has Joint Declarations on Cooperation or Mutual Recognition Agreements.
3/ EFTA has 29 FTAs covering 40 countries and territories outside the EU and is negotiating more. efta.int/free-trade

According to Transparency International @TI_EU, the lobby organisation that has held the most high-level meetings at the European Commission between 2014 and 2018 is @BusinessEurope.

Deals touted by Brexiteers as the answer to any hit from EU withdrawal “won’t make any particular difference” to the unusually large portion of Britain’s exports that come from services rather than physical goods.
2/ The fact is that UK exports to non-EU countries have been growing at an average rate of 6% per year every year for at least the last decade.... WHILE WE WERE EU MEMBERS!
3/ taking advantage of such deals proposed by Ms May and Mr Fox would take a long time and would require a painfully slow reorientation of the British economy.

A question I get a lot from followers in business is what a No-Deal Brexit would mean for UK exports to non-EU countries like the US, Korea or Japan.

2/ First and most important: This should be a conversation you are having with your lawyers, your importers and their lawyers.

Your business is unique. Random idiots on the internet (like me) are not a substitute for bespoke advice.
3/ Tariffs - Do you trade under an EU FTA?

The EU has FTAs with dozens of countries. These may allow your exports to those countries to enter at a reduced tariff rate or with streamlined procedures.
