/n I was browsing the American Community Survey and decided to make/share some (politically incorrect?) graphs. Don't have much analysis or commentary to offer, as I suspect none of the data is all that surprising.
/n One thing that did surprise me was seeing that US-born Hispanics are virtually just as likely to be food stamp recipients as their foreign-born counterparts (food stamp usage also jumped considerably under Obama/following the recession)
/n Foreign-born blacks are less likely than US-born blacks to live below the poverty line, while US-born hispanics are slightly less likely to live below than foreign-born.
/n US-born hispanics are only slightly more likely than foreign-born to have BA or higher degrees. What gives?
/n Both US and foreign-born Hispanics place below the mean standardized personal income
/n Foreign-born hispanics are least likely to be fluent in English
/7 LET THEM IN!

The End
/8 Here are some figures for the 'Caravan' countries *gulp*
