We just arrived at the hospital for @fawfulfanswife's bariatric surgery.

Thank you, again, to everyone who stepped up, pitched in, and made it possible. I'll post updates because you deserve to know how it's going.
Right now she's just prepping for surgery. She goes under the knife in two hours.
They're taking her in early. Pretty soon I'll be kicked out to the waiting room.
She's being wheeled to the OR now.
And that's it. All I can do is wait.
So far, no information about my wife's surgery. She's still in there.
She's out of surgery. All is well. It'll be an hour or so before I can see her.
They've finally let me in. She's pretty out of it but she's going to be fine.
I'm confident she's stable so I'm rushing out to grab a quick dinner. I will return and if the hospital lets me, stay the night with her.
And I'm back by her side. One of her machines is beeping, a doctor is coming to check it out.
She's fine, the machine was just malfunctioning. But she's nauseated and short of breath and basically feels like crap. She's fumbling with the TV now.
Now we're watching The Office — which only I like and she hates — because there's nothing else on.
She just threw up a little blood, but the doctor said that's normal.
She just went in for a CT scan, to make sure there's no clotting. She barfed a little this morning but no significant pain.
