+Players in Memphis came back to their hotels after news came down, and had their personal items waiting in the lobby. Kicked out of their lodgings.
+Amount of money owed to vendors, venues, etc. in San Antonio for training camp is over $4 Million

This is a complete mess...
No one signed the letter... sent from generic company email address.
...hell of a way to be let go.
This is a sad account of how (severely) injured players are being handled...
“I ended up breaking both of the bones in my forearm, and getting 15 screws and 3 plates in my arm.”
“I broke my arm Saturday, I had surgery Sunday, and on Monday I woke up and had a lot of text messages from my friends on the team that said, “you best start packing your bags.”"
“I went to the trainers…my questions were, who do I bill for my medical expenses, my physical therapy, my training and what’s next? At that moment they had no clue what was going on.”
“Today we got an email (generic AAF league address) saying that supposedly SOME of the injuries would be covered by worker’s comp. and moving forward we have to call a lady (contact information provided in that email) and nobody can get a hold of her.”
“I do have regrets. We made a little change in our pockets, but it felt like it was all for nothing. If you’re telling me you’re going to do something, do it. I feel like everything that we were told from the get-go was 50% true.”
