Day 9 Logroño Rest Day
REST DAY!!!!!
New plan. I’m going to the end of this street instead. 
Going back to the jacuzzi and sauna now forever.
New shoes!
Mainly because I am bored with my current blisters and want some new ones.
And they are red. On the inside at least.
Keen shoe watchers will notice that they are a size larger than my current shoes and have a much softer toe box. Let’s see if the extra space and flexibility helps with my swollen toes.
But I think not. :)
Taking the new shoes for a walk now.
Verdict: My feet are definitely more free to be in pain with the new shoes.
Not sure they will be robust enough for the junkier parts of the route either but we’ll find out.
Gotta see if @monchote’s cooking is any good.
My backpack is mostly me carrying foot equipment. It’s pretty much empty otherwise. Here is my shoe collection.

Route planning honework time.
From 8.5 to 13. So pretty much all uphill.
Hmmm... thunderstorms forecast for tomorrow. Interesting.
First two pages of stamps finished.
Finally finished organising the next leg of the trip. It’s a block of eight days walking to Burgos. Eek!
There are a few detours. Going to San Millán de la Cogolla to see the monasteries and staying overnight at Atapuerca.
Already calling tomorrow the Day of Pain in my head.
Last two hour jacuzzi and sauna then. :(
