For the rest of us on planet earth, we want to know when Brexit is going to die.
It would have died yesterday if Lord Twatters hadn't taken the piss.
The new schedule.

Monday - Cooper/Letwin finishes in the Lords and becomes law, mandating Theresa may to ask for a long extension, which will turn out to be a year at least.

Brexit will die right there.
I doubt there will be a formal announcement because English politicians think that if they don't mention it, we will never notice it.

nevertheless, Brexit will die on Monday
Theresa May is resigned to Cooper-Letwin anyway, but even without it she would have to ask for a year's extension. Why, you say?

Because we're already in the short extension, and the medium extension is no longer available. The long extension is the only one left.
There were only two ways of avoiding the long extension:

1. Get the withdrawal agreement through parliament

2. No-deal Brexit

Neither of them are viable, in spite of the newspaper gibbering about them.
Well, Bercow has already ruled out any more votes on may's withdrawal agreement.

And as for leaving with no deal, that was only ever a figment of fevered journalism. You know how emotional Englishmen can be.
So a long extension was inevitable. Can Theresa May survive?

Ha ha ha. No. But who cares anyway? Does it look like Theresa May is in charge of anything any more?
Parliament has effectively downgraded Theresa May to a mere ceremonial role. Parliament has taken over the controls. Parliament is legislating for a long extension, Parliament has put Theresa May in baby reins.
So either by Theresa May's request on Monday, or by Parliamentary legislation on Tuesday, we're going to ask Europe for a long extension, of a year I would think.
What we're going to do with that year's extension is what we should have done with the last two years of the Article 50 process, if parliament and newspapers hadn't been so caught up in their own hysteria.
Parliament is going to decide that having seen the consequences of Brexit, they can no longer pursue it without the final consent of the country at large.
A referendum!
And Theresa May will resign. Obviously. A lot of other people should also resign, but if I know humans, they won't.
In sum.

A year's extension. Theresa May's resignation. Tories abandon Brexit and elect a new leader to that effect. A referendum to confirm. Article 50 revoked.

Just like I always said. Don't ever let a journalist tell you the future is unknown. I know everything.
