Nothing at all about wider rights to live, work (in employment or self-employment), retire, or study as between the U.K. and EU.
One wonders why his draft agreement yielded to what he now describes as “small c conservatism in the worst sense”. Hopefully it wasn’t just because many in the ERG are, on immigration, “small c conservatives in the worst sense”.
He is, of course, absolutely right that liberal provisions on services trade are intimately tied in with mobility of people.
Which is why it’s particularly disappointing that his draft EU/UK agreement - where the UK has such a strong interest in preserving what it can of our current “best in class” arrangements on services with the EU - is so hopelessly thin on mobility.
