I'm covering today's House Judiciary hearing on white nationalism. The witness list includes Turning Point USA's Candace Owens, who says she's bringing a "special guest."
A Facebook representative claims that Facebook is "no place for hate." Facebook just banned white nationalist groups last month.
Google rep claims hate speech "has no place on YouTube." At the same time, the comment stream for this hearing was just disabled because it was filling up with racist / anti-semitic comments.

Louie Gohmert is using his time at the white nationalism hearing to claim that it's a hoax that Trump said there were "fine people on both sides" at Charlottesville. This has become a big talking point on the right over the past few months.

House Republicans are incredibly mad that Candace Owens has been described in committee materials as "conservative." Two of them have complained about it so far.
GOP Rep. Greg Steube donates nearly all his time to Candace Owens to make whatever comments she wants.
