Life Irony:

You become more uncomfortable by trying to avoid the uncomfortable.

You become more comfortable by seeking the uncomfortable.
'I have noticed the same irony! Any idea why this is?'

Yes.

It all comes down to tension.
Back in our primal days, humans had a lot of things to be tense about.

Lack of food & resources, sabretooth tigers, being isolated from their tribe etc.

Their main goal was to seek comfort.
Seeking comfort back then was the END GOAL.

Especially since life was so challenging.
But things changed.

Humans evolved.

We developed cars, technology, restaurants etc.

Nowadays, we are TOO comfortable.

The exact opposite of how it was back in the days.
'Okay, but what does this have to do with anything?'

It's because humans are creatures of TENSION.

Either we overcome tension, or it becomes self-inflicted.
-You become more uncomfortable by trying to avoid the uncomfortable.

This irony happens because you are actively avoiding tension.

Results?

The tension becomes self-inflicted.

Which is why you FEEL uncomfortable.
-You become more comfortable by seeking the uncomfortable.

This irony happens because you are actively seeking tension.

Results?

Your inner tension melts away.

Which is why you FEEL comfortable.
Bottom line is this:

Humans were meant to be challenged.

Either you challenge yourself, or your brain will create challenges for you.

The latter is the leading cause of anxiety, bs outrage & sensitivity.

That's because these humans have opted to avoid challenging themselves.
Now with that being said, find ways to exit your comfort zone!

Get comfortable being uncomfortable because that will have you feeling comfortable.

Read that again.
