Form all the ‘judgments’ you like Bill Kristol (haven’t you already done so?), but that’s not the purpose of a prosecutor’s investigation or report, and the fact that you & others want to treat it as such illustrates why the ‘investigation’ was a travesty from the start.
Hiring a team of prosecutors with subpoena power to create a giant ‘report’ describing in detail a President’s ‘Bad Behavior’ so citizens could ‘form judgments about’ that Bad Behavior, independently of, y’know, *the law*, was never an appropriate use of DoJ resources or powers.
The most accurate term we have for a ‘report about [politician’s] Bad Behavior’ is opposition-research. If the goal of such a ‘report’ is to persuade citizens to Form Judgments About that politician, then the ‘report’ is a *campaign advertisement* for the opposing party.
Taxpayer money should not be used to create campaign advertisements and political rhetoric favoring one party over the other.
Subpoena power and prosecutorial threats against citizens should *certainly* not be used to construct such campaign ads.

The Special Counsel should never have been appointed. Its purpose was rotten from the get-go. You’ll note nothing good or meaningful came of it. Random Russian IT people were ‘indicted’ big whoop.

And trying to get around this rotten origin story of the SC appointment by blathering that the (boring) phished Podesta emails was ‘interference in our precious election’ or an ‘attack on our country’ just makes you sound like a hysterical ninny.

You wanna posture as having the noble goal of protecting our precious democracy from hacks, you should probably start with the Chinese OPM hack, and then figure out who all of Hillary’s emails were being Cc’ed to. You posers. Phonies. You petty partisan phonies.
The sad reality is that this petty partisan abuse of power by factional insiders pretty much *worked*. They got away with it. They raked up some dirt, and meanwhile, Ds took the House. It wasn’t a home run, but it was a win.
