I'm reading Papadopoulos's book and all I can think of is that guy from every horror movie who is somehow oblivious to all the creepy things going on around him, and is inevitably killed off within the first 40 minutes.
"I googled him and didn't see anything listed about him being a spy, so naturally I assumed his offer to give me money was legit. But it turns out if you read the Wikipedia page about him, he's totally a spy! How dare the FBI trick me like this?!"
George, no! Run! For the love of everything, why would you go in there??
"Why do all these strange men keep offering to give me lots of money for reasons that don't make any sense? It must be because they think I'm so smart!"
If only George had finished reading that Wikipedia article.

He's trying to be coy in how he phrases it, so that Sarah Sanders can deny it and attack the media when she's questioned about it, but the president is calling the Russian attack on U.S. sovereignty a "hoax."
Sanders, soon: "The hoax he's talking about is the false collusion narrative promoted by the fake news media. The president accepts the findings of our Intel agencies."

But Trump's public position remains the same: there was no Russian interference.

Meanwhile, the Mueller report has set an unfortunate standard for 2020 and beyond: a candidate for office cannot break the law to obtain an advantage in the election, but if Russia or another foreign state does it for them, the candidate/campaign is in the clear.

Graham has now moved on to the most crucial topic facing the DOJ right now: the Clinton e-mail server.
Graham is claiming the Clinton investigation cannot be trusted, because it was led by people who said intensely critical things of Trump.

If that's the case, I've got some bad news about the Senate Judiciary Committee's work.
Senator Graham is very upset that FBI agents could have questioned whether Trump was an acceptable presidential candidate.

The Jensen Farms outbreak was a really complex incident. There were multiple things going sideways at that plant. If they'd only done one of them they may not have had that massive outbreak. But they were doing all of them at the same time.

When they started in this industry, people called him out for his rude, cold and straight face. His masculinity was intrusive and rough in the eyes of the media and of those who barely know him. People refuse to see the other side of that stone-cold face.

I totally forgot about the opening to the movie and I don't like many book to movie adaptations, but the way we get to see things going on outside Katniss' view offers very potant moments. Goddamn that opening.

Most of the responses were soooo valuable, and I know that #Blackgirlnerds are everywhere across the globe based on the 300+ responses that I received. But... there were a couple that I couldn't deal with at the time.
To keep these together, I'll use #NerdingWhileBlack ... I think it's appropriate when I think about all the times that people have been amazed that I read sci-fi and fantasy and watch anime consistently. I also think it fits since being a #nerd has often been raced as White.
