The whole reason why a lot of people have become the security guards of the nation (Chowkidars/BJP supporters) is because they feel insecure that Hinduism is being destroyed. They feel Hinduism is being overshadowed by other religions.
Part of that is true, regarding the conversions, small fights and riots in a few regions, and nothing more supports this narrative that should make us (Hindus) feel insecure.
The problem is not with the other religions, attacking other religions doesn’t make our religion any stronger, the problem is with the state of the country, the hunger, lack of (job, food, etc.) security, poor financial status, etc. These problems make the people vulnerable.
And vulnerable means, abusable or exploitable by the not-so-vulnerable or clever.
‘Saving the Religion’- this should come after our country is completely developed. Cause what’s good in saving our religion if we can’t properly give an assurance to the people that they can live here and prosper.
We should save our religion using what our religion has thought us and what it did to us, we should not save our religion using the Govt., which will work, but it is a short-cut which will give the other religions a sort of insecurity and provoke them to use Govt. for the same.
To all those Hindus, there’s no fight to fight to save Hinduism. We’ve survived for these many years with no significant fights, even when non-Hindus has the power. BJP is just cashing this out for their power, and you’re the ones left with swords to swing in the air.
And BJP is taking us nowhere with this narrative, other than a Civil War, just like how it happened in the USA for Slavery. There were people who fought for the freeing of slaves, and there were who were against the freeing. Here, the war will be secular and non-secular.
So, to all those BJP sympathisers, rethink your decisions.
