It wasn't just Gonzaga, either. In order to protect Jesuit priests accused of sexual abuse, the Catholic church circulated them through remote Native communities, like a merry-go-round.

@HoustonChron There is a correlation between these religions that have at their core strict high boundaries about premarital sex, sexuality, and gender roles. Male leadership is paramount, and sexuality is repressed.
@HoustonChron What is this correlation? The more they suppress sexuality, the more likely they are to abuse it. And the more likely they are to blame victims for the abuse.
