So, The fabulous Miriam Margolyes, Labour Party member and actor of Jewish heritage, was interviewed in the Radio Times and had rather a lot to say about Israeli State, Anti-Semitism, Jeremy Corbyn and Maureen Lipman. 1/ 
"Jeremy Corbyn, who is an excellent constituency representative, a serious person, is not an antisemite. I don't think there is the extent of antisemitism in the Labour Party that people seem to imply. I think it's to do with trying to stop Corbyn from being Prime Minister." 2/
It's just a fact that the Israelis have behaved appallingly, they continue to do so, and people are dying. I am ashamed, as a Jew, of what's been done in my name. I can't bear it. And for that I'm vilified and people won't come to see the plays I'm in. 3/

In 2014 she publicly ripped up her Labour Party membership card, saying she was quitting Labour due to Miliband’s support for a future Palestinian state. 8/
In 2015 Lipman joined the ultra-right-wing Zionist Federation outside Parliament to protest against Corbyn & appeared in an anti-BDS video equating boycott movement with anti-Jewish racism. Also resigned as contributor to ‘Oldie’ magazine, in protest at an article about Hebron 9/
Finally, in 2016 it seems she 'forgot' that she had already quit the Party just two years previously, and once again said she was quitting Labour due to Corbyn’s support for a two-state solution. 10/
PS - If anyone has any doubt as to what a national treasure this woman is - this story is one of the funniest I have ever heard. ❤️❤️❤️
