Section on Russian hacking begins on page 36. That's where I'm reading for new info.
Okay, so there are very few revelations in the hacking section of the report. Most of the narrative details are from the indictment. But...
According to the Mueller report, the FBI suspects that the Russians were able to hack "at least one" Florida county government through spearphishing emails. (page 51)

Mueller also reveals in the report that his office did not investigate the attacks on local election offices or voting technology firms because DHS/FBI was already doing that.
And the report adds more information about the DCCC>DNC pivot that the Russian hackers did (first revealed in the indictment).

It was a VPN connection set up so DCCC employees could access DNC resources.
Sorry, that's from page 38.
Other new info is mostly numbers for already-known activities (pages 38, 40, 50):

* Hacked 29 DCCC computers
* Hacked >30 DNC computers in <2 months
* Took >70GB from DCCC file server
* Took ~300GB from DNC cloud account
* Spearphished more than 120 FL official email accounts
Page 42. Either the Russians sent private DCLeaks links to multiple reporters on the same day, or Mueller got my Facebook message data. (Almost certainly the former!)
Page 46. Gee, I wonder how Mueller got this data.
Page 49. Mueller says he doesn't know how the Russians were able to find the email accounts on Clinton's private server that they tried to hack (five hours after "Russia, if you're listening...").
Page 62. Lots of people are talking about this one. Mueller reveals that Trump directly asked campaign associates "to find the deleted Clinton emails." Flynn then asked several people for help, including Peter Smith (wsj.com/articles/gop-o…).

Sorry, one more thing. On page 50, Mueller officially confirms that Illinois is the hacked state referenced in the GRU indictment.

The name of the hacked vendor — reportedly VR Systems — is still redacted (page 51) for privacy reasons.

Meanwhile, the RNC's statements on the Mueller report emphasize a criticism of the Obama administration for its "repeated failure to act against Russian cyber meddling."

The lawmakers who I heard making false statements on the GA Senate floor — @williamligon, @dolezal4senate, and @pkmartiniv — did not respond when I asked them about those statements, which covered optical scanner sophistication and the relative hackability of different machines.
I did speak to @kirkpatrickdk, who chairs the relevant Senate committee.

I pointed out that hacked BMDs could corrupt the paper ballots.

“Do you not think that voters have some responsibility to review [ballots]?” she asked. “I mean, these are adults we’re talking about."

At Election Verification Network conference in Washington, @RonWyden rips into voting technology vendors.

He says vendors think "they are just above the law. They are accountable to nobody. They’ve been able to hotwire the political system in certain parts of the country."
@RonWyden "We’re up against some really entrenched, powerful interests, who have really just figured out a way to be above the law," Wyden says. "There is no other way to characterize it."
Wyden announces a new, expanded version of his PAVE Act. Still requires paper ballots and RLAs, but now provides $500m for optical scanners. Govt will also pay for all RLAs.

Georgia SoS Brad Raffensperger has adopted a familiar playbook for dealing with election security criticism: ignore experts, attack critics, and dismiss facts.

Raffensperger says people warning against ballot-marking devices are "outside of the mainstream."

That would include @theNASEM and virtually everyone with significant voting security expertise.
To justify BMDs, Raffensperger released a memo saying paper ballots would cost significantly more (207-224m over 10 years) than BMDs (150m).

It used an inflated per-ballot price & flawed methodology (compared purchase price of BMDs to purchase AND admin price of paper ballots).

Yes, evidence started to surface in mid-2016, specifically June 14, 2016, that constructed story by CrowdStrike on Sussmann's suggestion, who later participated in the Crossfire Hurricane investigation itself. Of course.
"Around the same time, candidate Trump announced he hoped Russia would recover emails described as missing from a private server used by Clinton when she was Sec. of State (he later said that he was speaking sarcastically)".

As if I needed a 400-page report to explain sarcasm.

From DOJ spox Kerri Kupec: In his remarks at 9:30am, AG Barr will address executive privilege (whether it was invoked), White House + DOJ interactions over the last several weeks, and the redaction process.

How is Barr feeling today? "Calm," Kupec says.
Here is what we KNOW:
- Barr will have a presser at 9:30am. DAG Rosenstein will be there, but isn't expected to speak.
- Congress will get CDs with the redacted Mueller report between 11am-12pm
- The report will be posted online *sometime* after it's delivered to the Hill
