What font does the #MuellerReport use? I ask in order to try to size things to fit in the redacted portions.
So which of these two is #MuellerReport declining to prosecute?
The redaction seems Don Jr sized, but the unredacted side seems more appropriate to Assange. The Willis and Nosal cases didn't prosecute the person using the password, but the person who gave it out, or suggested they should use it.
Reading Justice Manual 9-27.230, it indeed seems reasonable they shouldn't prosecute either Assange or Don Jr. for this minor password breach. But on the other hand, how does this apply to Assange in the Manning password conspiracy charge?

I hate leftist articles like this, because they ignore the right-wing perspective. If I'm an evil greedy capitalist paying for labor by the hour, why should I care about longer hours vs. just hiring more employees?

Wages in China can be as low as $1/hour. Why should I, the greedy evil capitalist, want to force 50 employees to work 80 hour weeks for $4000, when I can just have 100 employees work 40 hour weeks for the same $4000???

The lefty argument is that forcing employees to work longer hours makes them less efficient. Why can't greedy capitalists see that? It means they'd be getting less productivity from the 50/80 mix than the 100/40 mix for their $4000. Why are evil capitalists failing at greed???

So Democrats hate Trump for the unforgiveable crime of not being a Democrat. (Former) #neverTrump Republicans like me hate him for things like this. It's never okay to ask the country's secret policy to suppress news stories. Ever.
It's not an isolated incident. It's how he appoints incompetent politicians to the FED to get them to stop raising interest rates so he can brag how high the stock market is going. It's how he tells border control to commit crimes with promises of pardons if they do so.
Yes, Obama did a couple of bad things as well, such implementing DACA as an executive order when it should've been done with a law from Congress. But it was nothing on the scale of Trump.

1/ So based solely on my ability to read English and do math, and a willingness to be proven wrong, I calculate @MalwareTechBlog facing 6 months to 48 months, depending whether the judge believes his contrition and the government's claim of $70k damages.
2/ My guess is something closer to to 6 months, because otherwise the government risks creating another Max Butler out of somebody who otherwise is destined to fight cybercrime rather than commit it.

3/ Yes when he was young and stupid he did something stupid. At the same time, his current life's course is one that would provide benefit to society unless the government screws that up.

I have read a large part of the Mueller Report, and a large part of the footnotes. *NOT A LAWYER* but have been involved in cyber security for a long time. Worked in White House + National Archives, + interned Congress 2x in Senate. So... 1/
#MuellerReport is comprehensive. Much more so than media or Republicans thought clearly, as so many seem surprised.
What is surprising to me, is way in which it is redacted. Others have commented on twitter and elsewhere that the redactions involve other ongoing cases. Yes. 2/
Reading carefully some of the redactions clearly are for methods. By this I mean the signals intelligence collected by the US Government SIGINT. Maybe even other methods as well.
One thing however is clear. US Government has ability to collect huge amounts of info on anyone 3/

2. They did so in two ways: deep and sophisticated infiltration of social media since 2014, and hacking the DNCC emails.
3. The Russian hackers impersonated not only right-wing groups, but also progressive groups.

#Thread 1/ Today's a day when I think a lot of people are going to be discussing and critiquing #journalism Since I've been teaching the subject for quite some time now, here's some things I tell my students about their relationships to public officials.
2/ The first rule of #journalism, even in the @spj_tweets code of ethics, is to "seek truth and report it." Sources of truth don't always want it shared. Everyone wants to look good, and when people have chosen to do bad things, they don't want you to expose them.
3/ A side #ProTip for newsmakers: The best way to avoid unfavorable coverage is to not do bad things. It's not 100%, but it works a lot better than other shenanigans you try.

Here is a thing I learned from my dad, "You at least have to try it once. I don't care if you don't like it afterward, but I want you to try it. "
He taught this to me, my sisters, our cousins, and my nieces. It's something I've told myself and friends over and over again.
Normally this was only in terms of new dishes my dad would have us try, either homemade or purchased from a store or restaurant, but, at times, it would refer to actions or activities. If we went to an amusement park, and were scared of a ride, he would make this deal with us.
I use it to allow myself to try as many things as possible. Experiences are important to me; what are we but our experiences? Our ideas and feelings are formed and molded from what we have experienced, and I believe we cannot truly be aware of the world without experiencing it.
