Wonderful @numberphile video featuring chaos, Julia, Mandelbrot and @SparksMaths .
I rewrote my Mandelbrot drawer after being inspired by this video by @sparksmath (maybe my 4th rewrite!) Interactive: openprocessing.org/sketch/701474 Left mouse click to zoom in, right click to zoom out. 'o' to turn the orbit on/off. 'j' to turn the related julia set on/off.
Up/down arrow increases/decreases how many calculations to do at each pixel. The internal coloring (normally black) is based on how far away from the origin the orbit ended up (uses half the colors, the outside uses the other half).

Here's a nearest neighbor for the Mandelbrot set. Bad news: it takes a long while to calculate the nearest neighbors for a quarter of a million points. Good news: it goes exponentially faster as it gets closer to the end.
