How is this not the lede of the story?
The president of the United States is urging the attorney general to conduct investigations into his political enemies, while his personal lawyer tries to get foreign prosecutors to do the same. Seems pretty bad!
Here's Sara Carter on the April 3 edition of Sean Hannity's Fox News show saying that the Justice Department "need to investigate" the Biden-Ukraine story, which John Solomon had been talking about in the previous segment. Hannity responds by invoking Uranium One.

An audience member who wants to be a cop just asked Liz Warren what she’s gonna do to protect cops. Her answer is that the system is profoundly unfair and racist. “It is a criminal justice system that has race right at the heart of it, and we need to call it out for what it is.”
She says we also have to look at what is criminalized, and what’s not, and pivots to talking about how rich people can afford justice and poor people can’t. Then she says we need to restore voting rights to ppl w convictions. This is a good answer to “How will you protect cops?”
Finally, to directly answer the question about protecting cops, she says: gun control. “We need to be willing to push back against the NRA and put some sensible gun laws in place.”

Reflect on the fact that the President of the United States is an unindicted co-conspirator to a campaign finance violation based on his former personal lawyer's plea deal, and the media will never treat this with the same urgency as Hillary having a private email server.
Michael Cohen's admission in court that he was directed by Trump to make the illegal payments was in August. Has there been non-stop discussion about Trump's status as an unindicted co-conspirator since then? Fuck no.
Trump had an EIGHTY ONE-MINUTE press conference in late September. There was not a single question about Michael Cohen's plea deal. The degree to which the press engages in normalization is frightening and galling.
