The Lou Dobbs segment Trump started his day by tweeting about first aired May 7, and reaired Saturday and Sunday nights as part of a Dobbs clip show.

The Dobbs/Fitton tweets from last night are also from that same segment.

What seems to have happened: Last night, Trump was watching this Dobbs rerun on Fox Business and tweeted this.
He then saw a quote he liked from Fitton and got a staffer to tweet out this thread quoting it.
After seeing that quote he paused the show in the middle of the Fitton interview and moved on to other things or went to bed. Then this morning he picked up where he left off and tweeted from it again.
Again, this is all for an interview on Lou Dobbs tonight that first aired last Tuesday.
Oh man, it's even more bizarre. Trump's tweet from first thing Sunday morning is also from that same clip show; the segment originally aired May 8.

Right, Trump, 6:33 a.m.
The president of the United States spent more than 24 hours teasing out quotes after watching a Lou Dobbs clip show featuring segments from earlier in the week.
