In addition to the 1% of the Consolidated Revenue Fund (CRF), the BHCPF by design can also be funded by donor grants. So far, according to this report, there’s $20m from the World Bank, $2m from the Gates Foundation, and £50m in commitments from DFID google.com/amp/s/www.prem…

The latest update on the BHCPF is that the national rollout - enrollment of beneficiaries - kicked off this week, in Osun State. Niger, Katsina and Abia loading... All 36 States & FCT will be covered.

States have important responsibilities in the implementation of the BHCPF:
They are expected to, among other requirements, set up State Health Insurance Agencies & State Primary Health Care Development Boards (SPHCDBs); & also to provide some co-funding:

I’m told 20 States + FCT have indicated interest in being a part of the BHCPF Implementation: Abia, Adamawa, Anambra, Bauchi, Bayelsa, Delta, Edo, Ebonyi, Ekiti, Imo, Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Kwara, Lagos, Niger, Osun, Oyo, Plateau, Yobe.
