Has been some discussion about @JoeBiden and interactions with press so far. Some things worth noting so far, especially as I've seen some say he hasn't taken press questions on early state trips so far
By my count, Biden has done eight interviews since announcing candidacy. That includes two national TV - "The View" and with ABC's Robin Roberts

All that being said, yes it's been tough at times for reporters who are trying to get shouted Qs on ropelines. And they haven't done organized gaggles at events yet as other candidates have done. I'm told we'll see those down the road
One factor here the campaign is wary of: not everyone shouting Qs to him on a ropeline or outside events has been a reporter. I know from experience it's also not his favorite venue to take questions, as he greets voters and does selfies etc
Warren camp, which is all about metrics, notes she's done 53 press avails. I was at the first, which came on day of her exploratory announcement. Took multiple Qs outside her house.
